A pen is placed onto the magician's palm, a clear plastic window is held over it so the spectator can clearly see the pen underneath. The window is rotated 90 degrees and the centre of the pen vanishes. It's turned another 90 degrees and the centre returns to vision. However, on closer inspection, the centre of the pen is seen to be twisted. The pen is then handed to the spectator in its twisted state and thoroughly examined.
